wm caprice roof dvd

hi. when i insert a dvd, on all screens it says cd loading then will come up cd error. have tried numerous cds. yesty i played a dvd cleaner an it reconised the cd an guided me through the steps for cleaning. i then placed a dvd (movie) hoping it will be fixed but still comes up loading cd then cd error. any help would be appreciated as nobody in my town wants to touch this system as the have had no experience with this car?

sounds like a laser alignment issue to me mate. Not sure what can be done to correct it.

Hi there,

Try playing an audio cd rather than a DVD disc. If you see that the audio disc works then issue will be laser. Generally it takes a lot more to read a dvd than a cd. If still still doesn't read the cd disc well of to Holden you go....
