WM Caprice Series 2 DVD Issue

Hi all, I have a WM series 2 Caprice V with an in roof DVD player that I am having issues with. I can load a DVD but it does not show up anywhere. I can use all the controls in the roof to control the main head unit but there is nowhere that shows the DVD player is even there. I have gone through the manual and done what it says but when i press the AUX button to work the DVD player it is not even recognised. there is nothing anywhere to say there is even a DVD player in the car! The screens in the seat work and when i try to use the menu to access the DVD I cannot press on the DVD menu as the scroller doesn't let me meaning it is saying there is no DVD to view.
I have taken out and put the fuse back in but nothing!
Holden want $110 just to look at it.
Any help would be much appreciated
