Don't do this. You need the rear speakers for fill.
Use the fader on your headunit to turn off the rear speakers - you'll see that you need them.
Not true. Unless you have passengers in the rear a lot, there is no need for rear speakers for clarity/fill if your front stage is set up correctly, and are decent speakers...
