Yup. I need one too.

1993/4 VR V6 3.8 Wont start. It's throwing an error 23 (MAT Mass Air Temp Sensor does anyone think that code 23 would make the car not start?

I cant hear a fuel pump would the code 23 make the fuel pump not work?

I check the fueline at the manifold and its definatly not sending fuel to the manifold.

I'm pretty sure, that I need a fuel pump for my VR too :p

Cheers.

its easy to tell if your fuel pump is stuffed to not. When u turn the key from acc to on you should hear a noise from your fuel tank for about 2-3 seconds that is the fuel pump pumping until it has reached the appropriate pressure 20- 30 psi. If u do not hear this noise than your fuel funp is definatelly stuffed

Exactly, also when you have more then half tank of fuel, you should be able to hear it as the cars running, not from inside the car. While the cars idling, go and listen to the fuel tank and see if you can hear it.

i have replaced 2 fuel pumps since easter, my first one was from supercrap(supercheap) cost me $140 plus a fuel filter...... Never again, as i said only lasted 4months, i decided to go thru a fuel specialist (projet fuel supplys.. i think, in brissy) paid $165 for a genuine delco (brand fitted by factory) pump. getting better fuel efficientcy. always replace a new fuel filter when replacing pumpas warrenty will be void otherwise.

do you run this thing down to til like theres no fuel left at all in it ? coz that'll destroy your pump pretty much, maybe your fuel guage is lying to you, this happened to me twice already, lubemobile re-aligned the float for me and installed properly, never had a problem since.
