Loudspeaker is not hands free. It either needs to be a factory car kit, or an aftermarket Bluetooth kit.

I have a iPod jack that is wired into the head deck so I can listen to my tunes, but it also has the capability of transmitting a callers voice via the speakers, so would this still be illegal?

Probly best to not use it, think it needs the full kit with the mic n all that jazz.

Yeah its 50 50.. Just had a quick squiz on the RMS (RTA) website and its not allowed for the red P platers but its ok for loud speaker and hands free for full licence drivers...
