Xforce varex rear muffler

Hello, has anyone had any bad experiences with the varex mufflers where you can control the amount of noise produced by the exhaust. I'm just wondering if they can damage any engine components by limiting the amount of gases let out when the butterfly of the exhaust closes. Current engine is a ls1.

I`d say no it will hamper power as it would be very close to having a standard restrictive factory exhaust when closed, you can post in the xforce section for a more detailed response.
