none of those abovementioned engines are strokers, they're full rebuilt standard stroke engines

cost fro a stroker comes down to parts used and if you can do some yourself. CAPA stroker kits cost about 3k from memory, but you have machining and assembly aswell if you can't do anything yourself. fully built strokers can range upto 7k

again with superchargers, it comes down to what you use and if you can fit yourself. SC14 (toyota blowers) can be had for round 700 used, but you'd need to fab mounts and piping, right up to about 7500 for a bolt on intercooled vortech

cost comes down to how good you are with a ratchet, adn how heavy your wallet is

Yes but waste of money. Just go the blower and forget about stroking it. The gains vs cost just don't add up.

cheers bro!! good info to have!!

now then onto my next question

how much boost can i put through the engine befor i need to strengthgen it?

the engine has been re-built and modified, but the person i bought it off wont give me a definitive list of what was done to it, so im treating it as a stock engine

that depends entirely on how healthy your engine is and what has been done to it. If it has a higher compression ratio to stock then you won't be able to boost it as far as a lower compression engine.

to be 100% sure would require pulling the heads off and doing a few measurements. another less accurate method would be to measure the cam (lift/duration etc) and then do a compresion test. if the cam is standard or close to it the compression test should confirm if it's stock compression (assuming you've got good rign seal)
