hey guys, just a quick question, does anyone know where i can get coloured globes or leds that match the original globe shrouds of the original globes. been looking evrywhere but no luck.. cheers

yer on ebay but they only have them 4 the cluster the T5 wedge type LEDs, the rest of the car u'll need 2 do urself after uve got some LEDs from dick smith or jaycar but they r a lil expensive 2 buy from them better 2 get them from a wholesaler

Yeah Tried Dicks N Jaycar No Luck With The Globes , Not To Interested In Soldering Leds Onto The Old Board Due To The Failure Rate Of Them. If Anyone Stumbles Across Them Let Us Know. Thanks

LED's shouldn't really fail... ever! Only when you use the wrong resistance in connecting them to the board will they fail.

Yer thats right LEDs r only prone 2 failure depending on how uve soldered them in aswell n how much heat uve put on them during soldering which effects the life span of them or poorly made LEDs which u can usually tell as soon as 12V is applied and they out last ne globe pants down. Globes r an easy fix but they blow with the slightest tap or bump ud b supprised how differently these r 2 compare them 2 1 another. y do u think cars now days r coming out with LEDs in dash and now on exterior lighting parts???

not sure y u couldnt find globes from jaycar or dick smith they have globes 2 replace the globes in the VT/VXs along with a small mod 2 the globe holder

whereabouts in Sydney are you located?
In Hornsby they have a jaycar and then another aftermarket parts store down the road they sell all sorts of LEDs for cars.

Im In Castle Hill, Not Interested In Leds, Not Worth The Hassell, Im A Sparky By Trade So I Cant Be Bothered. Just Wanna Find The Original Style Globe In Different Colours To Green For The Aircon N White For The Cluster

Id give this thread a read if ur goin 2 use globes still as u still need 2 do somthing with the green film in the dash instuments ect..... its 4 LEDs but it explains wat u can do bout it 2 get the best colour shining through with no tinge of green
