- VX S commodore II
Hi everyone this is my 2002 VX Commodore S II. I bought it October 2011 for NZD $13,995. It came with VZ mags and a non stock muffler.
Being me, I was glad to have a Holden but couldn't settle for this. Over the last five months I have carried out various aesthetic modifications, and have a whole list of things to do to reach a showcar level
Interior:
JVC head unit, Sony 600w amp, Sony 1300w sub
I was not happy with the job that Paul's Audio in Timaru had done as the head unit was unsecured and stuck out. So during a thunderstorm a few days ago, i went out to my car and cut the metal out the back so that it would fit. Still not secure but it doesn't get smacked when I change to 3rd
Exhaust:
Rage Big bore exhaust
I was livid when Magoo Muffler (same place as Pauls Audio) installed a big bore exhaust for me and neglected to tell me that there was a non stock exhaust system underneath. So I paid $719 for the exact same sound that it originally had, and it still sounds like ass (never going to this place again)
Exterior:
35% Window tint
Thanks to Tint-a-Car in Timaru, first company to do a proper job of what I asked
Wheels:
18 inch Advanti Gauntlet Black
Great job done by Vaughan Motors in Timaru
Things to do:
Near Future:
>Secure Radio, I possess some metal bits designed to secure the radio to the car
>Change Dash colour, I have purchased a red dash face and red LEDs to install
>Install Cannon exhaust, I know this is usually taboo on a Holden but this is the cheapest way to stop it from sounding like V6 ass
Within the year:
>Install Raptor Supercharger, I am now saving to install this by the end of the year
Next year:
>Candy Apple Red paint job
>VY front bumper
>GTO side skirts and rear bumper
>Monaro Flutes or XR8 bonnet bulge
After the rest:
>Black Leather Seats with red stitching, Red leather in certain spots but haven't decided yet
>Red Dash Fascia
>Red leather on Gear knob
>Headers, Intercooler etc.
>Big brakes, lowered suspension
