Anyone out there with a V6 conversion can tell me what radiator cap pressure they are running. My VK has an Ecotec installed and has been very reliable apart from some coolant leakage from the rear of the manifold.
Now that the manifold gasket has been replaced, I am finding that my standard 105 kpa radiator cap is not holding coolant pressure. I know the v6 requires 135 kpa pressure cap. If I change to the higher pressure radiator cap, will my radiator (v8 VK) and heater core handle the extra pressure ?
