I think it was @VFSV6FORME that had a similar issue going on and resolved it.

Thanks. Checked the thread on vfsv6. Different electric window problem. My back windows worked (only 2 pin plugs). My 6 (only 5 wired) pin front windows don’t. I’m guessing the 3 additional wires must go to a module. No one seems to know. I’ve emailed Haynes for a wiring diagram last week and still waiting for a response.

Just occurred to me. If you've had a fire, there could be an absolute **** show of faults.
Personally, I'd replace the harnesses through the car, but if that's a no go, old mate here just used this $40 tool to find a broken wire and that might well be a huge help for you.

I'm going to get one. I used these years ago in my trade (work owned it) and it never occurred to me to use one for wiring in cars!
