A quick easy cheap door hinge pin remover made from scrap and cheap supplies.
12 cm of all threaded rod (diameter that i used is 3.9 mm), 2 nuts to suit and an old rack end.
First put one of the nuts on the rod, place it in a vice and burr the end over so it won't come undone.
Thread the other nut onto the other end and use another nut to lock it in position, round it off on the bench grinder (so that it is a slightly smaller diameter than the hinge pin but still large enough to remove it).
Get the angle grinder out and cut the ball joint end off the rack end, proceed to groove one end so that the threaded rod slides in and out easily, grind a flat into one side.
total cost: less than $1
total time: between 5 - 10 mins
