I think it cost close to 8 or 9 grand from memory including cam/valve springs/tune etc, there was a few part payments towards it on the receipts from the previous owner. the car is sold now, so I cant check for sure.
g'day mel, whereabouts do you adjist your horse[s], the reason I ask is my gf wouldnt mind knowing someone that could tow a float, and I refuse to stick a tow ball on my calais :P
nice car btw, the red is definately a nice yet uncommon colour.
removing the rear resi will cost you bugger all and should give you a reasonable note bud, back in the day a mate of mine and I took an angle grinder to the underbelly of the rear resi, sounded decent just with a hole cut in it. lol.
In the space of two years I've owned a vs2 v6, vt2 ss, and vz calais v6. The ss is probably the best on fuel of the lot, a much more spirited drive, i love jumping in it on the weekends, and it smokes my mate's original STI (modded too) which is supposedly the quickest prior to the new sti.
IMO its the auto and single spinner, had the same problem in my VS,
I dont have this problem in my manual vt ls1 with over 350hp under light acceleration.. yet to have any problems in my vz calais, but ive only just bought her :P
hi buddy,
car looks nice.
is the side on pic with the 19's on even ground with stock suspension? has the ride quality been reduced much and are you still able to go over speed bumps at a reasonable speed?
the reason i ask is i've just bought a vz calais, completely stock, and it's...
hey bud, you must be a mate of Alex's, ive heard about your VL, he mentioned you might be coming up to the drags at some stage, cause i'd be keen to check out your beast.
When was the last time you drove in saudi arabia? who's to say saed isnt genuinely trying to reduce braking times to avoid incidents with other people that may be treating the roads as their own private race track, as you describe?
i think you're going the right way about it saed, obviously...
Hi mate, as previously stated a pressure pack will cost you anywhere between $20 and $40, another 20each for the clear coat and primer. Unfortunately it wont look anywhere near as good as if you get it done proffesionally, and you're not saving that much money, try ringing around and see if you...

best to insure under your own name, that way you may get your no claim discount for further down the track.
I insured my car with justcars prior to getting off P plates, their insurance is cheaper for a modded v8 than insuring a std v8 with companies such as HBF.
p.s. don't ADjust your...

goodluck
IMO the black is too nice to ruin, maybe rich could chop some white cobra stripes? :P
have you considered some chrome/shadow chrome and black rims to break up the colour a bit?
sorry buddy, didnt see your post.
thanks, glad you think so too, wasnt sure if everyone would appreciate the dash colour, it's supposed to match the seats etc.
I love the exhaust though, was a little dissapointed at first as it was a bit quieter than my 2.5" straight through, the clip...
