cheers had a look at that and cant find the two individual wires on that diagram i dont think the wires are all that important they are not the ignition wires may justbe some accesory wires

Hey guys recently pulled the steering colum out my car an didnt pay attention when unplugging the ignition switch wires and can't remember how it goes back together...I have the main plug in but there is a grey and a blue wire that go towards the front of the switch not sure which one goes onto...

hey guys, i have a vk with a 308 i have a t5 that i am going to fit i have all i need v8 pedal box bellhousing ect just unsure with the clutch cable is there a specific one to use like just the v8 manual one from a vk on use the v8 one from a vr? any help would be appreciated thanks

possibly ran out of fuel and the carby bowl needs to fill up again before the car will start?

the oil pressure switch is located behind the intake manifold...easy enough to get to just a little bit fiddly starting the thread ect...buy the part genuine then see if u have the right size socket to fit over it it is quiet big then u just screw the old one out in wid the new.

you can get fully adjustable ones that are solid so they will never break and u can adjust ur camber and castor

speaking of crossmembers is there a difference between a vk v8 and 6cyl crossmember

long shot but maybe check the condition of the pads and rotors...sort of sounds like bad brake fade were wen the brake components get hot u begin to lose pedal just strange that it happens quickly and to such an exrteme mesure.

the very first motor u were gonna build with the cracked bore...still can u this block and just sleeve that bore

only takes about 15 mins to pull the intake manifold off there is 10 bolts holding it down and the manifold has reusable rubber seals

it says he has a vy they dont have the trip button...vy hold the two arrows with ignition off turn key on holdin the arrows for bout three seconds let go it shud beep...the u shud be able to hold set n it will reset...u might ahve to press mode before holdin set.

just wondering why you wudnt run a holden t5...coz of the price difference??

in a VK commodore are the struts the same in the v8 n 6cyl in terms of spring stiffness and shock strenght? and what about the rear any difference? cheers

you have to bench bleed the master cyliner before putting it on to the booster or the air will be stuck in the mastercylinder...do this by blocking off the holes were the brake lines go in then with a screw driver push the cylinder in and out then while pushing it in realease the wholes and air...

wouldnt worry bout cleaning the pistons as long as u dont damage them physically wen cleaning them then it will be all fine, carby cleaner as well is always a good thing with gettin the gunk off the tops of the pistons

u can leave the dizzy in the bak of the manifold has a recess for where the dizzy sits

i have a 202 injected motor in a vk with a m76 5 speed...and want to put a 308 into it, will the m76 bolt up to a 308 if the bell housing is changed? thanks
