just done this conversion and yes its a epic headache.... there is a few issues to encounter and differences with a stock heaterbox and a calais..... if your not extremely experienced with bombadores do not attempt this or you will be left very frustrated and angry

read road rules... its defect... i think in other states its ok as long as the cups are matt black and on passenger side.. far as i know sa is illegal for bonnet mounted gauges, pins, or scoops facing frontwards

try another speedo sender... they do **** up from time to time... see if theres oil in it... also when removing dash clusters sometimes people scraps the printed circuit boards on the sharp dash frame when removing it and it breaks the tracks.

meh i have a v6 level 3 dash in my ss and temp gauge reads fine... tacho is slightly out but i couldnt care less... its only a couple hundred revs... barely noticable

as stated... i bought a worked trans and motor as a package.... trans is sold now anyway

5 bucks says you need to carby clean your throttle body ... ive had this problem before. its probably tacky and the butterfly is sticking

its the pointer stops. they are sticky ... file them down till u have no paint and they will be fine Dave, Gaugeworks

i dont believe holden can recalibrate it .... not if it has more than 12 kilometres on it. i may be wrong though.
