Thoughts on the RS3 mate?
I'm running them on my car at the moment, I've found them to be very hard. Cope well with more laps/hotter days but take ages to get any heat into them.
You'd be surprised how common the leak I mentioned above is, not visible unless the car is up to temp and running, even then it can still be hard to spot.
Very common problem is a leak around the join where the end tank meets the radiator core. It will only leak once up to temp/under pressure, so if you turn the car off and try find a leak, you won't.
Look for steam or drops of water staining around the top radiator hose or generally around the...
You can cable tie it to your ABS module or anything like that, also to your battery clamp (thing that holds it down)
Or you could cut out a piece of MDF or similar and mount it on that in the engine bay, lots of ways.
Here is a messy example
Price drop before everything goes on eBay

Or $450 for everything together! Happy to send interstate, please send me a message for a...
As above ^
Such a common car, the aligner should know what to do. The castor isn't adjustable and front camber isn't adjustable, rear may be slightly. He would have just set the toe then taken camber out of the rear if possible. There's not much to adjust on a commodore.

Nice, clean example mate!
What sort of rotors/pads are you putting on the front?
Just to get the ball rolling, DBA 4000 rotors and QFM A1RM / Comp 9 or PMU Club pads.
What sort of driving will you be doing?
Nic, can't you use any thinner wood?
And perhaps just use an MDF ring to mount he speaker, try and install each mid on an angle toward the driver?
I understand you have a large mounting depth to work with, but that depth is only at the centre of the magnet, it's not a cylinder.
Man XXLS is a really great SQ sub, budget and space requirements aside. I was trying to choose between the XXLS and my Mach 5 for my car. It'll do well off as little as 250wrms but will take what power you have. Yep, around 1 cubic feet is fine. I will model some different enclosures for you...
Yep, hard lines run into the radiator. The shop even said "use two hose clamps or the hose can blow off"
Doesn't seem like the best way to do it, surely.
I'm interested to see how others have done it, my best idea so far is the fittings from Pirtek.
Hello again,
Following up on my previous thread (Towbar) I am now looking at transmission coolers to fit to my VY V6.
I had a look and the standard cooler (in the rad) uses hardlines. What is the best way to fit an external cooler?
I talked to a local auto transmission shop and they said they...
Clutch cable grommet, driver's side near the BMC.
Into the cabin, remove the sill panel and rear seat, run it through the cabin and into the boot following the factory loom.
Be sure to insulate the cable through holes or use grommets.
Yep, 1200kg and 1600kg have no bracing, the 2100kg has bracing to spread the load out. I'm looking second hand, I'm in no rush so will keep an eye out. Otherwise it seems new cost is $850 fitted, so maybe $750 and I'll fit it myself.
Body I don't mind! :P I know it's not going to pull apart or crack the subframe/chassis rails in the short term - long run I can't say. I just need to tow for maybe 1 year, then I will have saved up enough cash to sell the Berlina and buy something more appropriate. Do you have the 2100kg...
Thanks for your help mate, just the information I'm looking for. I've included a few pictures of the sub box for reference, it might have to be removed permanently.
When you towed with your VN - what was actually smoking? I'm interested more than anything else.
I'll just get a cooler from...
