Yeah I did, all sorted out. They suggested me go to my closest store which is FHRX and they said it's one of the best. I've got a 4,000 budget on JUST audio exquipment. Only Speakers, Subs, Amps. The head unit, wiring, sound deadening and all that will be from another buget.

hmmmm. I must be getting old, cause I can't understand why you would want to spend $4000 of your hard earned on a sound system to make it loud
enough that it can cause instant ( that is immediate and irreversible ) hearing damage.

Do you want to be deaf all of your life?

Mates spent 9.5k on his sound system and getting 140's.
Thats in a Ford.
Has like 20 speakers and 2 subs as well as 2 massive amps.

The difference between 140 and 150dB is a theoretical 10 times the power!

My cheapest 150dB setup was a combination of new and second hand... four pioneer 305c subs, two ReSponse 1500 watt amps, XS Power D3100 battery in the rear... about $1100 worth of subs, amps, and battery ;)

Just curious, is this for a comp car or just to #### your hearing permanently?

Type R's are far from best quality and bass.

Really? I thought they were boomy and inaccurate, muddy bass. Did not like them at all.
