also is it running a holley? if so adjust the acelarator pump arm sounds like it might be coming on to soon

i have a problem with my new vl i thought it was the fuel pump but changed it and is still doing it it start and runs then dies then wont start if you leave it for awill it will start but just dies any ideas it semes like a fuel problem but may be wrong any help will be reatly apreciated cheers

just to put this out there is your dip stick in your trans rusty? mine was on long trip the oil was boiling the stupid radiator was leaking into the trans new radiator and trany cooler fixed it

id give it a filter and oil change and should be good

na thats defenatly ether a pan gasket or your dip stick tube the trans lines are above the leak and looks dry

ok this is a bit strange vs is coming up with code 81 2-3 shift solinoid but its sliping in first and there is no over drive strange? also the sticker on the side of the gear box that says 6hdd and 7hdd is not readable is there any other way of telling someone said somthing about 12 or 13 pin?

thats a very common problem im 99% sure itll be the vacume moudel on the trans theres a metal line that goes from the back of the gearbox to the t pice on the manifold have had this happen manny of times

also to check the head gasket take youre plugs out and crank it over and see if water shoots out in the morning befor u drive it and dont stick ur face to close coz itll come out in alot of force it dose sound like a dodgy gauge though

has no get up and go mmmmm head gasket blocked exahust i doubt the exhaust

yea they arnt water cooled. im thinking a blocked thermo stat heats up to quick also is your timing corect chuck some cowgone in the radiator about 4 table spoons and drive it for awhile the enpty the radiator cowgone is a fab softner its in powder form
