yep amp powers up all good . i think my dads mate did the voltage test ur talkin about aand there was little power in the - and no power in the + ( or could be the other way around) on the terminals that link the sub to the amp, but the system control, power and ground where all perfect. so...

yea i took the amp out to play around with positioning, as it made things easier then measuring and lining things up. the ground cable was taken out of the amp, but still attached to actual grounding. and im not exactly sure if the power has touched any metal although its a high posibility...

ay felas need a bit of help here as im about to go insane. i was playin around with my mono block the otherday and eventualy ended up pulling the it out to work out dimensions n stuff so i could relocate it. also had all this done with out disconecting the batery as i got lost in the moment...
