mate i wouldn't put magnatec in my lawnmower,that stuffs crap!!never heard so much rattly lifters on start up when using magnatec,funny that when switched to a different oil no rattly lifters on start up!!,whats that telling you!!the stuffs like water!!

the LS1 i think is quite fussy what it runs on if you want it to have a nice quite motor,just like my old iron 350 that i,ve had there the same they don't like thin oil thats for sure,i swear with the mobil 2000 and the pro ma MBL8 oil additive is the best it ever been

pro-ma is no "snake oil "mate,i would never put any old crap in my engine,it has been recommended by engine reconditioners as it gives the oil more quality additives that the oil companys would ever put in,for a oil company to put in additives like that would make it cost prohibitive for the oil...

get that synpower oil and the pro-ma into it ASAP,the pro-ma is good for roller lifters also,its a oil treatment the best you can get,let us know how it goes.

its most probably b not piston slap but lifters mate,you have to get the right oil in that LS1,there fussy motors when it comes to the oil there running on,i just did my LS1 a oil change and used valvoline synpower 5W/40 with a 100ml of pro-ma MBL8 mixed well into the oil before putting it in...

found the best oil to use in my LS1 and its valvoline synpower 5w/40 with a 100mls of pro-ma mbl8,my engine now is whisper quite no lifter noise on warm what so ever,its running mint,i had that manky penrite in there before and i must say that oil is utter crap,i should of know from my last SBC...

It will be fine with 4 point adjustment,because once aligned on a alignment machine and tightened up it can't come loose,just today got my rear camber adjusted on my 2001 VX R8,because it had a super low kit in it and the rear wheels where cambered in to buggery so i thought i needed a camber...

just got my VX R8 this week and i love it,it has 20,s,chipped and tuned for 300kw,what do you think,payed $19,000nz and has done 126k,s,goes extremely well

update had a look at the VY2 R8 yesterday with 172,ks and what a gutless pig!!!,my old Vr clubby is alot quicker with way better throttle response and sounds way better ,i hope there not all like this as this is the first LS1 i,ve driven and not impressed.hopefully the next one i drive has some...
