Put your mother-in-law under the bonnet. Plenty of air out of her mouth with all the complaining. Plumb her into the intake manifold...

The big advantage of the Sv6 is the fuel efficiency over the V8, 200Kw is nothing to sneeze at, nice for everyday. But a V8.. well that's a whole different kettle of fish....

Loving mine... Spend a couple of hours doing the 2 hole MCAI, it's worth it. But I still get a big dirty grin every time I get in it and drive it....

Traveling Ballarat to Maryborough, filled up and straight on the highway, 100Km/hr 62odd Km distance, was taking it very easy. Average 6.7L/100Km. Best figure noted during trip, 5.6L/100Km 2006 Sv6, stock engine, 2 hole mod cold air intake and a BMC high flow filter :o)

I'm a fan of a good quality pannel filter in the existing airbox (K&N or BMC). Looks neater, plus is legal. Drift is just a cheaper substitute. No where near as good...

Friend's car got flooded, up to the door handles on teh outside, and the full footwell inside. Left Sunday on the back of a truck... it's a 2003 Lancer. I'm imagining it's gonna be a write off, probably water in engine, transmission, diff, interior is ruined, ABS has gotta be toast....
