Hi guys i scored a vn s1 v6 manual machined crank and flywheel. I was just wondering what benefits it will have and if its worth putting into a engine i want to build up for my 4runner3.8.

No tune was needed that i know of, it retains all original factory sensors etc. a guy on ebay makes them for 400 and up depending on what configuration you want. im happy with it so far.

Hi, I have a 2nd gen 4runner with a vn v6 s2 and i just installed a twin throttle body that opens in stages so it doesn't kill my bottom end power> IMHO this thing kicks arse it made the car so much more responsive and opened up the top end more then i expected.

sorry for the delay, It was easy all you need is the reverse rotation fan from flex a lite usa, then go down to your local machine shop and get them to make a adapter to run of the waterpump pulley. Hi all i have a 4runner with a v6 from a vn in it, I was wondering what differences besides ecu the ecotech has to the old buick? Does the buick v6 and the ecotech have the same bolt patterns and engine mounting positions etc? In other words will it be a direct swap? Any info would be good.

I got them cheap so i decided to try them out. the base plate holes are large enough just the rocker holes are to small. Is the pedistels the center of the rocker? because if i could change that i think it would be ok.

I know that but most are for ac and its a better option to put them on the engine side. Besides the point no 4runner/surf would have enough room for a thermo in front anyway. so really all this is pointless to the surf and 4runner owners because the only thing that will work is a engine driven...

Those vitos have a engine driven fan i have sinced goodles it. i think you will find that you are mistaken with the ac fan thats made for the condenser. your vk/vl s there a fan on the engine side aswell?

you cant count the ac fan thats not made to cool the rad. plus i dont think to many 4wds would use a fan on the front, plus like i said then at speed it would ruin the natural airflow and make the car run hotter, i dont want that
