Im having trouble finding a twin system, who does exhausts for the VS’s, I can only find that manta are the only mob that do the twin 2.5”

The rest of the suppliers red back etc, do not make them. Only for VT 5L’s and cheap at around $500

From memory there was a bloke on the forums a long time ago who sold systems.

I'd be chatting to an exhaust shop around what they can do from the colllection of pipes and mufflers on their shelves.

Not_an_abba_fan was doing Manta systems, however he's not in the game anymore so it's best to go to Manta directly.

Nobody else I know of does an off the shelf twin system other than Manta, it's all custom stuff or you have to have something made up.

The manta stuff is really good btw.

Expect to pay around a $800-1200 for a mild steel twin system for a VS, mass produced stuff is the only way to get them cheap and the only mass produced stuff is the redback single systems etc.

I'd be chatting to local exhaust mobs to see how much it will cost to have one made up to whatever specs you want. It will be higher quality than off the shelf stuff that usually uses the cheapest steel/mufflers they can get their hands on.

IMO if your looking to go a bit cheaper I'd go the manta single 3" if it's a stock 304, I reckon they sound better than twins on a stocker.

I had an exhaust shop make a twin cat twin 2.5 system for my VQ 5L. Had middle mufflers and a rear resonator and it sounded terrible at anything else other than WOT. Even then it was marginal at best.

Ended up scrapping it and putting the y pipe back on and going a single cat single 3" system with a 12" hot dog in the middle and a suitable resonator at the back. Sounded mint and didn't drone at all in fact it was nearly silent in the cabin at cruise with all noise being sent out the back with exception to a nice, defined burble reminding you that your in a 5L and weren't able to race anyone. :D:oops:

Just install 2 single systems and you will then have a twin.

I’ve sussed out the manta kits by the look with extractors it’s around a 2500ish adventure

local bloke wanted to charge me $600 for a cat back exhaust... bit rich 100%

car has a crane 284 cam, will be adding a YT charger, diff gears etc and down the track build a 355 to suit

@immortality IRS mate

It's a lot easier to fabricate a twin system on an IRS car so that is a bonus.

Pitty for $30 worth of pipe and a $100 muffler was going to cost me $600

think I’ll just cop the cost and buy the manta
