can you still get that? nah... i reckon dual mixers and a really good LPG system, lpg can handle 12 to 1 easy, its just a matter of feeding it the right amount.

anyways, i still dont know why i am perpetuating this thread, lets face it we all are gonna have a 383 stroker with a roller cam 650 lift, 12:1 comp one day... right?

well i dont know about yous but i am

so now im having some problems with the carby motor so the efi top is going on very soon so i need a list heres what ive got so far heads,inlet manifold,extractors,tb,cam, elec fuel pump,ecu and loom,arp head bolts , fuel line, gaskets,and a heap of red rtv form a gasket what else will i need?

lifters, molybond, zinc additive, 12 liters of oil, 2 Z30 filters, injectors were not listed nor was the fuel rail and whe you say "fuel line" is that what you are going to run for your fuel return?, got all the sensors for efi, as-in dont they need radiator fluid sensor, O2 sensor and bung? distributor, you may need different spark plugs (or regap) cos i belive the gap is 1mm for efi and 1.5 for carb'd.

thats all i can think of.

oil,filters,plugs easy

coolant sensor my car came out with,02 sensor goes in exhuast? and bung? and fuel line will be the return line

but another q for ya can i use lifters springs and valves from my carb heads on the 304 heads without machining?

there is no 294 duration cam in that link. i see the number "294" but it most certainly is not duration of that cam if it has 110 deg seperation.

you dont need to worry about springs if it is only 471 lift and anti pumps will just be a waste of money since it redlines at "5900" anyway.

so i guess you are going baby cam'ed 304 like i suggested then?

yeah 230 duration is gettin up there and 498 is really pushing the friendship with stock springs would have to replace them, but i dunno bout 113 seperation, not gonna lope as nicely as a 108 or 110, but then again this is for EFI so i wouldnt know wats good and whats not.

anti pumps should give you about 500rpm more with those specs but as i said, its efi so i could be totally wrong on all counts.

edit* do you know what the lift is at the lobe with that cam? should be around 330 or something. some advertisers will say its 498 but they work it out on 1.65 ratio rockers which are non standard. stock rockers are 1.6

nvm, found it. bit gay of crow not to list lobe lift, but yeah.
