Got one of these stock(bored out) throttle bodies! they are selling them all over the joint. Was just wondering if anyone has tried one and if so r u happy with it?

generally people note improved throttle response. don't think there is any major gain in power.

Yeah I got 1 on my vy ute.Didn't notice much differance.Mainly put it on for when the Raptor went on.

I bought 69mm for my supercharged vs statesmans, it was **** house flat spots every where ,no power,so I internaly polished and cleaned my stocky & it goes a lot harder,If anyone wants one I will sell mine ,

1999 VT Calais 3.8 V6
I have one on my VT Calais 3.8 V6 auto and now when I fill up on petrol the computer says 490kms to empty. I was getting around 600kms(city) before TB swap. Should there be that BIG a difference in fuel use? Please help!

You need to get the shift points / pressures altered slightly to match as there is more air for less tps

yep, spot on :thumbsup:

but then even with a stock TB you can alter the shift points and pressures for a all round better shifting box :)

Yeh stock tables can definatly be improved :)
