Cheap? lol mine was 240 years ago.. I think the mould is off or the plastic is crap.

You guys can open the mouth of the Aunger CAI another 50% wider than what it normally is...

well i bit the bullet and went out and grabbed one today , there wasnt to many around brisbane , but i got one ordered in from a outer suburb repco , what exactly does it do to the engine operation is it better or what

all it tries to do is get more cold air into the airbox. Whatever gain there may be is from the engine running on slightly cooler air...

I haven't got a pic but I just opened it up today with the rotary tool.. just picture the mouth the same height but wider... approximately to the aunger badge and roughly the same for the other side. I will put up tomorrow...

i got it explained to me as it has the same effect as a pod filter? is this true? are there any added improvements with having both a k&n pod filter and the CAI??

The pod filter is supposed to be lesser of a restriction allowing more airflow.
The CAI is supposed to direct more cold air into the airbox.
