G'day was watching top gear last night and it got me thinking what is the best driving road in Australia I personally like the pacific highway between Sydney and Newcastle particularly between Cowan and Brooklyn dose anyone else have a favourite road.

I'd say we have a few good ones in vic, but I've never driven outside of the state so I cant comment really.

- Great Ocean Rd
- Black Spur
- Arthurs seat (Short but fun)
- Great Alpine Rd (Never done myself, but heard good things)

The Alpine Way.
Thredbo to Khancoban and on to Cabramurra return is amazing.
Sponars to Guthega and Perisher to Charlottes Pass deserve a mention too.

Ive driven the whole Great Albine Rd/Drv and its a really great drive, beautiful scenery and windy roads all the way including going over the top of mt buller i think it was. definately recommended

thats is a really nice road to drive, i live about 5 min drive from there. Holden filmed part of the VE wagon commercial on that road. It heads up the escarpment to a look out called bald hill then into the national park.
