hey tmuir before you start throwing money/parts at it
does it have factory AC
does it fault with heater fan or only AC
does it fault on fan speed 1, 2,3, or4
it is a lot quicker and cheaper to diagnose a fault than to start throwing parts and see what sticks
throwing parts is a last resort and is sometimes used as a diagnostic
if you are determined to throw parts you will need same level BCM as yours, and you will need a manual ECU .
BCM, ECU and key remote all need to come out of same car or have them linked with tech 2

hi havent fix it yet

it does it with both the heater fan and ac and open on 1 but if u turn the car off aqd turn it over to wat ever number and turn the key on to on it will open

I would be looking for a wiring fault - either the fan or the boot having a short against the body of the car.

If you have the fan on 1, when the boot releases relock it. Turn the fan to 2. Does the boot open again?

Inspect the visible wiring for obvious faults - it may be something easily seen.

If the car has been in an accident, it is not uncommon for plugs to be removed and connectors put in place. There could be a reversed wire in one of the looms.

Ok, first time reading this thread.

Does it have an aftermarket cd player? If so, I would first start around there. May have shorted Something when it was being installed.
