Car Won’t Start or crank

Have been driving this car since November last year and all of a sudden about a month ago it refused to start and hasn’t started since. If I turn the key I get the lights and everything on the inside but no crank and I’ve tried charging the battery and that didn’t work aswell as replacing the ECU,BCM, Key and the key reader but still nothing has happened and any help would be appreciated

It happened to me once & it was the starter, the brushes wore completely out & it open circuited.
What milage has it done & has it done a lot of short trips?
Also try starting in neutral & wiggle the gear lever a bit it may be the auto trans neutral start switch.

Yeah I’ll give that a go and it has done a lot of small trips cause I live 15 ks from the nearest town

Common fault that it fails.

No I tested that before replacing the ecu

make sure in park with handbrake on
ignition can be on or off
bridge large terminals on starter relay socket 30 and 87
does car crank normally

Wait. When you say you replaced the BCM, ECM and key and key reader, did you have them reflashed to the VIN of your vehicle?

If all you did was swap those over with second hand units, you’re going to have a bad time. There is a multitude of other modules throughout the car that will have non compatible data and so a no crank, no start condition will occur until all module have been flashed to your vehicle.

The VE is very different to the previous model VZ where a computer swap was possible. The same gag can’t be done on the VE.
