hi,
I am wondering what everyone is doing for a catch can setup on turbo buick/ ecotecs?

Obviously not cranking boost into the sump. but blocking the pcv valve and rerouting it back to be burned?

and how is the sump breathing?

im confused by the setups i've seen.

The simple solution is: breathers (rocker covers, etc) ==> catch can ==>intake (after the filter but BEFORE the turbo)
And yes, blocking the PCV valve is a good idea..
Hope that helps mate.

check my setup out mate. works a treat. i dont have a pipe back from the catch can to front of turbo, just have two pipes from my head to catch can and a little filter on the other bit.

Just looked at your setup and i am wondering where you have the hoses plumbed into for the catch can.

They look like they are plumbed into the intake manifold

I use a breather, sponge inside of the neck on the oil filler, it has a couple holes drilled into it,

Works perfect for 25 psi of boost no problem and no mess
