Connection of vn fuel sender in vk 84

Hey All,

I’m just trying to work out the wiring for my vn sender unit to marry up with my VK. Has anyone done this before?

Can you tell me what goes where? I just want to ensure it’s connected correctly.

Any help will be greatly appreciated- I have recently just had Attspeed gauges fix the fuel gauge and cluster gauges and want to ensure it’s right.

Generally but you shoud double-check but only think vk & vh tanks

violet -power
black - earth
tan-fuel level


Should be earth from body to a tab on sender unit...cant remember wire for low fuel light (calais/sle/brock) etc as not worked on back my vk in ages.


Vn sender will have oval plug most used to chop decent length off donor car then join same colours.
