cost of fixing/replacing diff?

how soon would i need to fix/replace the diff if its whining? its only happening when going around 60 and over, but worst from about 60-80 and in third

its probably the bearings that are wearing out, its a common problem in commodore irs's...will probably need a rebuild or if you dont have the money just get a second handy off ebay or wreckers and hope thats fine

I got worn out second hand LSD for $150 that was only spinning one wheel. Did a bit of research and shimmed it up myself for free. Tight as anything when I got it in the car.

It will probably outlast the rest of the car even though it's whining.
More like....how long can I put up with this nnnnnnnnnnnnoise
