i like that, could you do something different with the swirly stuff?

and a suggestion, the people designing banners, might want to remember that the current banner stretches with different screen resolutions, unless the new banner is centered, you might want to add that functionality. just means having a section that looks ok stretched

Any suggestions? Solid colour, different pattern any ideas? Cheers for the feedback.

lol, dunno, maybe a faded out pic of a commodore, filling the whole bit, so you only see sections of it. i know youd see stuff all, but maybe that could be part of the stretch bit. not sure if its doable, but if you used a big picture, say upto 1600 wide, or whatever people want to use as a max(1280 for me) and then have the car of the month bit always over to the right, then on a wider monitor, more of the background image is revealed.

Very nice work indeed guys, going to be a tough choice at the end picking one.

I know virtually nothing about graphics but currently as I explained in a previous post in this thread the image is broken up into smaller images, not sure how the bigger one's will go as you need to remember everyone's resolution is different, I use 1680x1050 whereas others might be much smaller or larger.

Thanks darren, yup, working on that at the moment. It's just a case of finding a good stretch point :)

Ok, here is a pretty close to finished version, just missing the COTM comp stuff.
