Well it's that time of year again... Here's our display so far. Nothing too serious (yet - it's addictive!). I have a laser projector arriving this Thursday for the garage door! And I think we're going to add lights to the four round bushes along the front fence - they're just black blobs at night at the moment.

Effects like flashing and twinkling are lost in photos unfortunately, but you get the idea.

LOL!!! Not quite yet... I will do the roof next year, to music hopefully! :D

But this year, I just can't help myself. Added two more trees.

No lights for me, but I think next year I'll get some. I can't even have a Christmas tree this year because I have a toddler who will likely pull the tree over and start eating it haha. She's such a scallywag.

My better half put up some lights this year ... it's our 2nd year in the new house we had built, and I think she's kinda proud of both it & the effort we've put into the front "produce garden".
So the poles on which the sprouting beans are slowly crawling up are festooned with lights, like baby Christmas trees, and the frontmost set of planter-boxes are all aglow with fairy lights.
It's all solar; surprisingly most nights it runs 'til morning.

This year... Added the roof line and few little things. Wasn't going to put any up this year as we leave for overseas in a week and are gone for a month with my Mum house sitting. But then got the bug when the neighbor's went up! lol

Next year I hope to go big!!! :D And no more solar powered. They're not powerful enough. The fence lights barely even show up in this pic.
