Double timing chain interfering with cam angle sensor.

G'day fellas

Need some help with my build I'm doing an ls1 to ls2 engine swap and I'm stuck.

My ls2 has a double row timing chain and the cam angle sensor on my timming chain cover is interfering with the chain.

It's not actually the sensor that is hitting the chain it's the bulb at the back witch houses the screw for the sensor.

I cut the bulb back to miss the chain now the cover sits flush on the block but the hole for the screw is now open on the inside of the cover.

I think your saying you can't upload pics?
If thats the case, the pics are to big (as in to many megabytes).

Whatever you're using windows pc or phone, you can usually shrink the pic by editing the pic you're looking at.

If you don't know how to shrink it, google the question.

The pics need to under 2MB in size to upload.

i use imgur and right click on the pic choose, copy image address and paste it in By URL in the insert image box

Install the bolt with a heap of sealant on the threads, it is common to break through when grinding down the bolt boss for clearance
