Hi all...
Currently my VT has a Sony XAV-C1 (DVD Player) installed. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I would be able to also hook up my old CD Player, a Sony CDX-R3410 without any real issues on the current wiring... Can anyone tell me if I'd have to get another loom installed or anything like that? (my brother believes I would, and to be honest :p I have no idea lol)

I ask this as my old CD player produced alot better sound quality during music playback than the DVD player...
Cheers in advance,
Pendulum

Getting the sound to the speakers would be a problem... You can't have two head units connected to the same speakers.

Do they both have line-outs? I'm thinking, if they both have line-outs, you could hook them both up to an amp, and then hook your speakers directly to the amp.

Really? Why is that? Couldnt you use a diode on the speaker out?
