ahhh so sad, I agree with the above "Kia" and "Hyundai" comments. I used to love Wrxz till i drove one 
sooo fast but so small inside, no little extraz that u would expect for the price tag..... Gr8 track car but useless on the roads, prefer a liberty wit a wrx engine dropped in.

i really am missing the cars of old, night blocky designed that didnt politely try to make their way past you, the older cars stood up and demanded right of way. i suppose the exhaust will be whisper quiet until someone makes up a 3" Single pipe system for it, heres to hoping it still has a nice burble.

Performance
"The 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four Boxer engine in the WRX delivers its maximum torque and horsepower earlier than the previous model, with 224 horsepower @ 5,200 rpm and 226 lb.-ft. Of torque @ 2,800 rpm, a full 800 rpm earlier than the previous generation WRX."
Power and Torque are therefore the same as the current model, except that the torque arrives 800rpm earlier. The hatch version is 60lbs lighter than the outgoing WRX as well I think. Thats 167kw in a car that weighs 1425kg. The STi will apparently be a whopping 300hp though.

May I ask why?
Because we cant afford a 45k car we dont have the right to have an opinion? Because our cars arent as good as the 08 WRX we aren't allowed to pass judgement?
It doesnt matter what we drive. We drive what we can afford. We see, we think, we judge. Its human nature. And we have the right to voice that opinion, especially on a forum, in a thread asking for those opinions.
