Faulty ECM or Stretched Timing Chain?

I might add that mine did not not make much noise, if any, on start up.
Chain was excessively stretched.
Car ran smooth after I picked it up, though today, was running with an unstable idle and not as much giddy up.

Not having much luck are you?? :s

Well, changed all the coil packs, adjusted the spark plugs to 1.1mm and that did the trick. Running smooth as now. Still need to check the starter motor relay, that was the issue with the car not starting occasionally.

I had same symptoms in my 07 SVZ ute. Changed one coil pack with a generic one. Fixed the miss and check power chain business

Well the front of the motor was taken off today by the workshop and the timing chain was stretched more than a politicians promise.

Hi - my SV6 2007 was diagnosed with stretched chain today - how much was the repair?
