When I belonged to the Brisbane Commodore Club the president had his car stolen. He had gone out to pick his kids up from school and left the keys to his Clubsport on the table. They drove the car around Brisbane like it was their own. When they finally caught up with them they had 100 or thereabouts cars. He didn;t want the car back but just wanted the go fast bits back.

I have said it before and say it again we must do the best we can to look after our prized possessions. Something as simple as a kill switch.

The world has changed and we must change with it. I recall as a child nobody locked their back door. Who would take such a risk now. We could because we have a dog and I defy anyone to come to our place after dark. We still don't take the risk.
