Fuel Efficiency VERY HIGH!! HELP!

My 06 Omega is wasting about 19.3L/100km city driving.
I filled the tank up to the top and i drove it locally and only done 280-290 km per full tank.
Is this the normal efficiency or is it too high?
Some suggestions on what to do to prevent this?

the worst I've had is 14 L/100km, so I'd agree that you have a problem.
Big-Al might be on the money.
Also, the VE has long-life spark plugs, but eventually they need replacing, as do other components - has this been done ?

Best to call and ask but they would probably say depends on how long it takes to diagnose.

Hey, its my mums car and she doesn't thrash it or anything but the fuel efficiency has been like this since we bought the car 1 month ago. 19L/100km seemed like it was too much for normally driven v6 engine. This is why it has come to my concern

i get 20L/100km in my huge cammed VE Maloo LS3 with a 3k stall so id say you have a problem.
