Ute VS
Hey All. I have a 1997 VS Ute and am having trouble finding a fuel pressure regulator. Does the fuel system supposed to operate at 44PSI (3.03 Bar)?

The part number on my old one is (Bosch 0280 160 552)

I have a couple of Standard PR112 Regulators in dusty boxes on my shelf.

Here is the link for the Standard Products Part....

Fuel pressure regulators do not seem to exisit in Australia. Standard Motor Products may not make these anymore. Not sure.

Thanks kindly for the information. Read the whole thing. Did not answer my question but still searching! Wish I know what the fuel pressure is supposed to be!

Quick read through the link provided by @07GTS shows it to be 3.5 bar....

Post #26 just incase this link doesn't show the exact post...

If you have a V8, regulator is 3 bar. They still exist. For V6, you are out of luck. I have not found any other vehicle that used the same regulator. It sold out several years ago. If you find a VS in wreckers yard, they have probably sold the regulator already.

there are heaps out there just with slight differences like vacuum hose angle, just have to match up the size and pressure with another and make one fit, or use that diameter this place makes adjustable style bosch rail mount regulators

Yeah, you just need to be insane enough to cough up nearly $400 for the V8 one lol.
Didn't know V6's were hen's teeth material...
This is a comparison between the two, as well as pressure rating difference, the inlet is substantially larger on the V8.

It is a shame the FPR's are NLA for the VS V6.

It is, especially considering VR V6 ones were still available last time I checked, which was only a couple of years ago. VS were extinct well before that.
