Fusions 308 VH '82 SL/X

If ya check the crush on the bearings, would that show up a dodgy bearing? Or is that only done to determine a dodgy journal? I ask coz the last 2 motors I've rebuilt I just replaced the bearings and not checked the crush....and they've both been ok (well so far lol)...and I guess my luck will run out oneday and I'll end up with a dodgy bearing or journal and **** will hit the fan.

I didn't check the crush . But in all the motors i've rebuilt i've never chrcked it either . I've never seen bearings this stuffed before .

Well I have the block back and have the 355 crank bolted in so far . I have also fitted the conrods to the pistons . Only seem to get a few things done a day due to shift work . few pics .....

Fingers crossed the motor is in tomorrow and getting close to turning the key . everything is back together and ready to be bolted in .

Yeah those VE rims will look awesome i was thinking bout putting the same set on my VH.

the VE rims looked wicked but went with xhp krayzee's . But now i have them on my VS . So i'll have VH SL/E rims on the H again . Only until I can get another set of wheels .

well done mate looking good.you should be really proud of yourself.there's nothing better than getting a car finished after all the hard work that has been put in to it.iv'e built a lot of cars at home for myself and for other people and it's great to see the commodore community doing the same.good choice of paint/interior looks wild!! keep it up mate and good luck with it all.
