Having done roof linings myself over the years as well as paid for it to be done I wouldn’t do it myself ever again. Far too difficult to do a good job and the professionals aren’t that expensive anyway.
What rough price looking at?
I'm only doing it to sell the car

There are three types around.
The two factory ones are velour and flat knit.
Flat knit I’ve seen on VY VZ VE VF.

I think velour was on pre VY.
My VP had velour which has a slight soft feel/fluffy texture.

Flat knit you can see the weave in the fabric.

Then faux macro suede which my fav.
