Employee here, in the past years we just copped the difference. They aren't discounted so a few hundred in stamp doesn't really matter.

It'll be interesting to see what happens, especially given the HUGE DD mark ups that they imposed, will they really have any excuse not to absorb it?

When I received my Reserve Edition the staff price had actually decreased, so my dealer notified me and passed on the saving, which I was very happy with.

Not all dealerships are the same. Our systems stamp duty is constatly out by 400-500, and I've never had a customer pay the difference.

Sometimes we adjust when the deal is done but in the long run what's a few hundred dollars to keep the customer happy?

My manufacture date in the 24th of May, as updated by Holden customer care last week. I do not know how long it will take to get to my dealer!
