Too many to list......
Price is too dear!

It could last for 50 years or 50 mins.. Its un predictable..

My uncle has a VY Ecotec with 550xxxks aha its still going strong!

He is in WA. In WA a VT series 1 V6 Executive with 320,000km still goes for about $2,500-$3,200 depending on body and interior condition.

Lol I didn't look up when I brought my vt, checked everything but that. Got home, fixed it when I noticed. Tin of quick grip, brush, table, pulled it all out, sanded that orange **** off, slowly and carefully smoothed it on, now you'd think you just brought it ;). Not bad for 12.50$

I have a wagon roof lining to repair two small spots of sagging will have to give this a try.

That's good to hear :). Now I just need a buyer for my VX Berlina ii

2001 HOLDEN BERLINA VX II Sedan Private Cars For Sale in NSW - carsales.com.au

I'd hunt down a Berlina driver's seat for it. Mismatching seats are a big turn off for buyers.

Make sure ALL the books and service history is with it. No books, no history, no buy IMHO.

All the rest told here on this thread makes a lot of sense. Good luck.

Paint and panel are biggies for me. Make sure you don't buy on a rainy day!! (As I did with VX!!) water on panels hides dings creases and ripples. I'd be happy with a car that had some mechanical imperfections, these can be fixed myself for not a huge amount of money. But paint and panel is $500 a panel to rectify I have found.....

At this age buy on condition, not mileage. Car may even have been engine/trans overhauled by now - this is ok. Check for major crash damage, panels that don't line up etc. Ripped trim is a no-no (unless its on the seams), new material is probably no longer available and really looks terrible.
