awesome upgrade for a series 1
did you just buy a series 2 IQ kit,
remove the old install the new?
then you would need some one to program the connection of the new to the car?
or is there more to this?
Pretty much!

Main things needed:
1) Series2 IQ unit
2) Accompanying replacement trims
3) Patch loom (Connects S1 car harness to S2 vehicle.. MUST have)
4) Modded HVAC (Not needed for Series1 SSV or HSV).
5) Programming to security link new unit to car

Nice job man. Where did you buy the kit from. I have been thinking about doing the same in my SV6 because the original stereo is ****.

I got the IQ unit and trims from a wreckers out of a 2010 Redline. All i needed was to reprogram the IQ unit and a patch harness, got that done by Ultimate Conversion wiring.
