To my shame I did watch Charlie get his new to him hat. That is I watched the news bit. My defence is I had already sat down and couldn't be bothered getting up again.

It cost according to the news $180 million, I bet he didn't get to pay for any of it. I think I could have found better ways to spend that sort of money.

Yes, I saw my share on the 6.00 news for 20mins.
I know it has all happened before with the glitter, pomp and ceremony, but now seems all very oldey worldey, gold horse drawn carriages and outdated military uniforms from 200 years ago. A repeat performance coming up in about 15 years ?
Maybe horse drawn carriages and furry coats are the way to the future, if the climate luvvies and extinction rebellion nutters win by then.
