I have and engine and box from VT SS.
I am using Redwood Fabrications mounting kit, CAE starter relocation kit, VN V8 K frame and rack and Pacemaker extractors to suit VL-VS.
I am about to start this conversion and have a couple of questions.

Can a VL clutch master be used? I was advised it does not have enough displacement.
Where do people mount the ECU? I dount think there will be much room in the engine bay.

Any advise on this conversion would be appreciated. There will be other questions.

I am going to trial fit the engine and box before paint and get it signed off by the engineer.

hey mate talk to mal wood they take the vl master cyl and bore it out bigger so it can work with the T56 clutch.

as for the computer i think it should fit in the passenger side kick panel if you get a set of vl (or vk 202efi) kick panels

When I talked to mal wood the did not offer the bored out vl master but a internal master pedal set up for over $700.

I have removed the manifolds, the old starter motor, clutch, flywheel, pilot bearing and dowels.
I have fitted the new longer dowels and put the adaptor plate on the back of the engine.

You really need a special bearing puller to remove the pilot bearing.

THe left side of the extractors is removeable so hopefully it will fit.

Looks like a awesome build dude, i did hear something when i was toying with the idea of a T56 in my VH that the shifter has to be moved forward on the box because the older cars are a bit shorter, im not 100% sure tho, def worth a measure
