....

Personally i think lsx forum section is more then enough as people seem to post in the VT-VX section if thats the model ls motor they have or in the VY-VZ section etc etc.
Prefix's arnt needed as you can just state what your talking about in your title as it's not a very busy section.

But the prefixs idea was across ALL modding sections. Theres a few different types of each (V6, Straight 6, V8 etc)

Look how much it cleaned up the FS section!

For sale section is totally different i think.
It might work not saying that it wont, but alot of questions relate to each model anyway tunes, valve springs, cams, diff gears, etc (im talking about the lsx section here not sure about the others) and wont make a difference as you would be checking each post anyway.

I'm not up with the mods on LSx's, but surely it wouldn't hinder it. Like i said, your have one for each engine type, and also one for 'all' LSx's, which could cover tunes and whatnot that related to all 3 motors. Surely theres other mods that are motor specific. I know for a fact it will work wll in other sections. EFI 304 parts are alot different to 253 parts.

Actually I do like the prefix idea, good work

What did you want added?
LS1, LS2, LS3, 5L

Suppose we could even go to the stage of adding engine capacity.

And your dead right it has cleaned up the for sale section rather nicely.

Prefix sounds like a good idea also.... all i suggested at the start of this was to have LS3 added or made a sub section of LS1/2 development.

After all the LS3 is a bigger block than the LS1....

And soop good work but you forgot LS3 the whole point that started this thread..... lol
