As far as I've read they have everything they need to make a little boy. Just no one knows if they have yet. But yeah, now we're delving into tin foil.

Honestly surprises me a fundamentalist group hasn't stolen a decent sized aircraft yet and loaded it with boom, boom, one up on 9/11, if this isn't that.

Well...logistically speaking.....since 9/11 airport security globally has been really stepped up so hijacking is difficult. Additionally, getting vast amounts of explosives to fill a plane would be ok for an army to do but terrorist group would need large human resources, money and would need to do it under the noses of global intelligence authorities. Then again, maybe in the past it has been attempted and thwarted by James Bond......

So there aren't thousands of IED's all over Afghanistan planted by 'terrorists' and responsible for the vast majority of US casualties? I dunno, it's the western attitude of discounting capability that seems to get lots of people killed.

and would need to do it under the noses of global intelligence authorities.

That'd be tough, like losing a plane or using a stolen passport.

ya mum!
No need to, they are already looking or has the bleeding obvious gone over your head? Currently searching 6000 square kms off the coast of WA - doubt they would bother if they didn't think it was down there somewhere.

It's starting to become pretty obvious. If terrorists had taken it most likely by now they would have let the world know.

Of course I know this is just an attempt to troll me. Back in your box CSP.

You made an unambiguous statement of fact without any evidence to support it and without any doubt or question. "It's at the bottom of the ocean somewhere. No mystery or tin foil hat nonsense." That statement hasn't been made by any authorities so clearly you're ahead of them. There is clearly still a LOT of mystery surrounding the disappearance as there is still not a single trace of anything anywhere. So it's not me that doesn't get it. :D

Hence my question - have you told the authorities that you know where it is? Because they don't know as you do that it's at the bottom of the ocean. And I don't know if you're trying to be insulting or what, but I don't know what calling me a csp means. lol So no offence taken (refer to sig for clarification).

A guy I fly model aircraft with now and then was with the RAAF flying F111s for a many years, and a couple of years ago went "commercial" joining Qantas flying the big ones to take us safely all over.
He made the comment last night, and I quote......."I still find the whole thing baffling, as do my colleagues".

Tony Abbot has just announced that they've found a couple of object that might be related to the missing airliner in the Southern Ocean. Australia is sending a few more planes out for a closer look.

Tony Abbott has announced Australia may have found pieces of the missing Malaysian airliner Flight MH370 in the southern Indian Ocean far off the WA coast.

In a shock development, Mr Abbott told Parliament today the Australian Maritime Safety Authority had received satellite images of "objects possibly related to the search".

"Following specialist analysis of this satellite imagery two possible objects related to the search have been identified," The Prime Minister said.

Mr Abbott said a RAAF Orion had been sent to the area to attempt to locate the objects and determine if they were from the Malaysia Airlines 777.

The Orion was expected to arrive in the area very soon.

Another three aircraft have been sent to the area for a more intensive search.

Mr Abbott said he had spoken to Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak to inform him of the development.

Mr Abbott said there was no guarantee the objects sighted were parts of the missing jet.
"The task of locating these objects will be extremely difficult and it may turn out that they are not related to the search for flight MH370," Mr Abbott said.

Flight 370 didn't actually go missing, it's the rest of us that did!
The entire planet except the plane, was shifted sideways in time-space by a rather large wormhole.
